Off the record to a germany buddy

It worked with just "dead rising 2" I gifted that game to him, since its banned in Germany, and we played it with great fun.

But with "Off the record" I just gifted to him a few days ago, doesnt show up in his library games list?

So Capcom finally put an end to this little workaround?

if its banned by the german government then its banned theres nothing more that you can do. quite frankly i would have to hate for someone to move just to play a god damn game

Well werent "dead rising 2" also banned as I said in post #1? But it worked quite well. All you had to do, was to gift it via steam to a german buddy of yours. And he could play it.

It is blocked from being installed or run on a german ip, hed need to run steam in a program that changes hes ip to a non german one, i believe theyre called proxies?

VPN is faster.
Some people use Entropay (hides your credit card info, very safe) and VPN software like Hotspot Shield to avoid this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ regulations.
I'd do that if I was OP.

Don't know if it work with Hotspot Shield , i used a VPN to install this Game , after that i could play normaly the Game+Online without Problems , even when i turned my VPN off , the Game still worked :)

As a German ,you need to use a VPN only for installing the Game nothing more ,hope this helps
