First Time Setup won't end ._.

My steam downloaded copy of Skyrim went smoothly, up until I tried to launch the game and it went thought the 'first time setup' stuff. The problem is that it isn't going past the .net framework update. I originally waited for about an hour before restarting my computer and trying again, but I've been waiting almost just as long since to no avail.

What I'm asking is, do I have to wait it out or is there some other fix available?

Cancel the setup attempt when it gets to the Winduhs dotNet step and then start it again. If you already have dotNet installed it'll bypass that step and continue the installation.
