save file bug

just got DI, during chapter 2 one time i died and load the last save, after it loads up i found myself in the jungle. i never being to the jungle, and some objective in my quest log got completed also yet my level and money stay the same.

anybody got that problem?

Never heard of that, have you tried fast-travelling back to the Lighthouse/Lifeguard and see what happens?

If you have System Restore and want to try an earlier save, right click your save-folder, Properties, then the Previous Versions tab.

See if there's a recent version you can extract and use.
