How does multiplayer work?

big sale on it right now, but I'm still not getting what the multiplayer entails. Do you just fight people with your team pvp?

its local only, the game is hard to explain

You can play against each other, but only on hotseat, you have to use the same computer together for multiplayer, like good old worms action ;)
