How to put Machinarium into my gamelist?

Hello everyone,

I have a small question and I hope somebody can help me.
I already bought Machinarium IRL as a CD and finished it sometime ago. Now the question is: How can I put it into my gameslist on Steam?
It seems like Steam doesn't recognize that I already have the game... :C

If it's not a Steam enabled game/version, you can install it on your system and then at the top of the Steam client select:

Games -> Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library

It'll walk you through the rest.

I can start the game on steam without the CD! c:
But it's not showing up on my community profil or is this normal?

It was added into your list as a non-Steam game, so no, I don't think it would show up on your community profile. All Steam is really doing is just launching an external game. It's not part of your account.
