Why didn't earth fly away?

So I made earth several times larger than the sun by increasing it's mass, why didn't it break out of orbit? I was expecting it to fly out and crash into the sun or something.

The game looks great so far though, just got it and think it'll definitely occupy me for a long time after I finish achievement grabbing. :D

Edit: Nevermind, I changed the diameter and not the mass / density.

Remember: The sun isn't nailed down.
By making the Earth heavier, you will merely cause the sun to orbit the Earth instead of vice versa.

The easiest way to send the Earth on its way is to increase the Earth's velocity.
