The metascores don't look so hot but then again you can't always trust those so I figured I'd ask fans of the series here. Should I grab the game and the expansions? Are they any good, do they add much worthwhile content, etc.? Thanks!

Just get Tribes of the East. There's a mod that lets you play all campaigns so ToE has all three games rolled into one.
