Mac version crashes in lion

Hi everyone,
I have os x lion and I can't get space chem to work. I tried spachem then mono and vice versa and it fails. I tried installing the latest version of mono on the website and it still fails. I check the cache integrity and it is missing a file but it keeps giving that error after it says it downloaded the right file in steam. This is my steam log, I blocked out ip addresses to protect the innocent. Thanks for your help!

@excalibur313: You're not crazy; I get the exact same results. I've done all of the things you described, and it constantly hiccups on 1 file in the game cache.

I've already talked to Zachtronics about it; they suggested I download the DRM-free demo from their site - it worked perfectly. Something is amiss on the Steam side of things.
