View Full Version : Stuck resolution(?) and fuzzy text

I got Demolition inc. yesterday, cause I wanted to play it.

Now the graphics themselves are OK.
Buildings, cars, stuff.
And the game seems fun to play.

However. The text. ALL TEXT! is as fuzzy as hell.
Menu, options menu details and ALL other text in game!
All the way to the point I simply cant read it anymore.

Therefor it's close to impossible to check what resolution I'm playing at or what the other settings are.
It's also impossible to read mission details or the F1 help.

The only downside on my system is the actual "video card" I have.
It's an Intel HD Graphics on board chip.
(I have a laptop, so no chance to upgrade to something else)

Is there SOME way to force the game to work on user specified settings (set from outside the game)
without the game overriding them cause it thinks my card is inferior.
(I've checked the threads here for some options, but none of them have worked for me)

I honestly don't care which resolution it ends up playing (my desktop res is 1366x768 though)
As long as I end up being able the READ the text!

For some additional detail I made a bunch of screenshots to show how bad the text looks.

Apparently my resolution is 1366x768 ( :) ) But that could very well be the steam overlay screenshot taker.

All I want to do is improve the text to a point I can read it without guessing which blob is what letter.

I see, it looks ugly indeed, I will try and find out what may be causing such strange behavior.

Any progress in finding out the cause?

Game is pretty much unplayable if I can't read the text. :(

I have checked the game on Intel HD and it seems to work properly here with the latest drivers. Is it possible that you set it to Performance mode in the Graphic Tray/3D? This is something that may affect textures, can you please check it.

It was! Setting texture quality to The other side (Quality..?) Did the trick.

I can now see (And read!) all the text properly.

Thank you for looking into it.
