What if there was a sticky launcher that stuck to players instead of surfaces?
Granted, this might need to come with a Sticky nerf that makes it impossible to insta-kill enemies with a single bomb, but I would imagine this could make an interesting play style. The bombs could even attach to allied players, but I'm not sure it should damage them.

It's been mentioned before. Definitely has possibilities, what with stickying a friendly Scout and using him as a kamikaze attack.
Unfortunately, if they could attach to enemies, it would be griefable. Get a friend of yours on the other team, cover him in bombs, wait for him to walk over to the enemy Sentry nest (enemies can't stop him because there is no friendly fire), and BOOM!

This is true, and probably the biggest reason a sticky type weapon won't be introduced.

Point... but what if the enemy had a chance to dislodge the bombs through explosive friendly fire, or airblasts?

I suppose that could work, too, but we gotta be careful not to make it too easy to remove them or they would quickly become useless against crowds.
