The silver...cities or something. The one with the mages.

I've put 30 something hours into the game and enjoyed the fundamental combat and most units and abilities.

But putting the wizard/mage/etc as the last campaign was a stupid idea. They're the least interesting, have the most plain of all units, and the hero spell is a total crapshoot.

But worst of all is that the campaign seems really restrictive. Sure they start you off at level 7 but with low level units, while random encounters have maxed out core units! Plus, once I got high enough on the tower to fight those 4-armed lion guys for the first time, some static enemy spawned behind me that wasn't there.

There just doesn't seem to be any room to train/grind, battles seem like a drag with mage vs mage units, and there doesn't seem to be anything reliable to help win.

So: What will make this the easiest for me, because I want to beat the game and get it over with. Post all of the cheesiest strategies or unit combos. I'm still on the tower near, I guess, the beginning of the mage campaign, but I just want to rush through it.

Thanks

You shouldnt play a game, just to get over with. just saying. I fear you will mass-rage-quit at the endboss with that attitude.

The most common strategy is to try again if you loose. I used wizards and djinns all the way up and it worked fine, ofc try to get extra moves and stuff, aim for master units before they get loaded if possible and level ur units up to lvl 5, at least the basic ones. to be honest, the endboss fights eems impossible to me if you use anything else than gremlins. So thats my recomendation, mass gremlins, the binding belt (or whatever its called, get + 50% binding damage) and then pray you get the walls up when you need them.
gl hf and try to enjoy.

if you're good at spotting chains, then use absorb circlet with either phoenix or rakshasa

It seems like I won half of the battles in the Silver Cities with under 10 HP left

I just finished the last campaign for the first time and I mainly used only 2 units, Gremlins and a Wizard (And a Titan for good measure but he quite rarely saw any action). Max the Gremlins and Wizard at least.

The Gremlins are very good at quickly taking out idle units and thus messing up the enemy's plans, so just keep making Gremlin formations which are spread out on your field so that they attack all over the enemy field screwing up his formation planning. With a bit of luck Wizards can wipe out basically the entire enemy field when the enemy's idle units are all connected, including any Elite or Champion units so the enemy, once again, can start over with his planning... Keeping one busy :)

The artifact I used throughout the whole campaign was the one where any attack on your hero decreases MP first instead of HP. Nadia's special attack is pretty useless since the Gremlins and Wizards already do a good job at the same thing. Since you're attacking a lot with those Gremlins the MP fills up nicely, so any attack that would hit the hero results in no HP damage, very often not even from Elite or Champion units (Combined with walls).

And yes, always keep the walls flowing ;)

The only battle I used Nadia's special attack was the very last battle. In the last battle I attacked with Gremlins a lot to fill up the MP bar, smacked walls all around, and then used the special attack to chop off like 75 damage.

Now I'm actually done with the game (I'm not much of a multiplayer guy) which sucks, it's a very nice game (Well, at least the first 4 campaigns, the last campaign was a disappointment).
