Gamepad not working?

I have a Saitek gamepad that works fine with other games (Trine, Tobe's Vertical Adventure). However, when trying to get into the multiplayer campaign, the game acts as though it does not know there is a gamepad plugged in.

I am running Windows 7, 64-bit.
