In the age of google, who uses books anymore anyway?

When i buy my kids books all they do is eat the covers, and make paper airplanes.

There are no picture in GameFAQ guides.

I don't read books without pictures.

I tend to avoid GameFAQs like the plague, it's an awful website when you get down to the core of it, the forums.

I buy strategy guides when they go on sale, or if I'm a fan of the game / series, I'll buy it when I buy the game as well. I usually buy them for collecting purposes, mostly the hard cover collector guides.

Spending cash on guides .. I could understand if it was a book about programming or something but for a game? Makes no sense. If you need a guide to play a game then you better stop playing games altogether like right now.

I think Gamefaq with actual user created FAQs are great. Honestly, all forums in this world is bad to a certain extent anyway.

I actually have the guides for kingdom hearts 1 & 2, although I believe I bought #1 while I was playing #1 and I bought #2 after I was done with #2


they are HUGE and filled with tons of pictures and posters, among with that they had all the stat values for each enemy and everything else (something you really didn't see online) and they had a few tips from whoever the writer was, I did actually use it to find a few things I wasn't aware of



Unfortunately I think that was the last of any type of game guide I bought.. but those guides were great, I still have the posters
