Can not get Heroes of World War 2 working at all

I am windows 7 user and I have tried using 98 and 2000 compatibility modes and every time I start the game it goes into user account controls soldiers.exe asks for permission and then nothing just restarts user account controls and asks for permission again...please help

The solution is already in this board, some threads downside :)

This works: Go to Steam directory: then to: steamapps-->common-->soldiers heroes of world war 2

Then right click on both the testapp and soldiers application, go to properties, compatibility tab, Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP (Service Pack 3) then click Run this program as administrator. Click apply and ok. Run the game.

Thanks for the reply sorry I couldn't get back to you flooding inrl but that did not fix the problem in fact it does nothing at all same exact issue.
