Great game, two small complaints

Please for the love of god add a toggle to get rid of the 3-2-1 crap every time you die/restart.

When trying to perfect a level it just really throws off the groove when I have to wait even that short amount of time before trying to again.

Also make the restart key actually restart instead of bringing up a menu you have to navigate.

Minor complaints but for some reason they really hurt the enjoyment of the game for me.

I'll add my ideas here as well.
There's a toggle to get rid of checkpoints that way if I die it will auto restart from the beginning. It would be nice to have the option to auto restart if I my bonus bar gets reset to 0 as well. Love the game this isn't a complaint just an idea that will speed up repetitive runs for S/S.

It'll be hard to get rid of the 3-2-1 thing because it either needs to be off for everyone or on for everyone. Since the enemies move around during the timer, disabling it would mean different enemy positions from someone who has it enabled.

The restart key has a secret: if you hit it again after you press it once, it'll restart. So to do a quick reset, just doubletap the reset key. It's super fast!
Using that would remove the need for a auto-restart on the combo bar, since it'd be trivial to restart.

Useful i didn't realise this, combined with no checkpoints makes it perfect for getting SS runs down.
