Man this is frustrating - half the powerups are useless. I guess it's a nice change of pace after how easy the rest of the game became.

On my first run with ??? I got the ♥♥♥♥♥ of Babylon, balls of steel pills, the rosary and the bible. Needless to say I won.

I was very lucky that day.

Book of Revelations and the Battery. Both available in the shop so start saving money early.

??? is supposed to be hard. He/it's undead, so so you can't really survive if you're already (un)dead. But yeah, just like ???, a little bit of you may die inside every time you see the item room or shop contain items like Charm of the Vampire, Little Chad, or the Yum Heart. And then that part is resurrected when you find things like the Book of Revelations, the Relic, or the Nail! (or Boom! You need as many bombs as you can get your hands on to blow open those tinted rocks!)

Book of Revelations makes a seemingly terrible game turn out very well. I finished Sheol with ???.

Doesn't he also respawn with three hearts instead of one when you have the dead cat?

Get Brimstone and get good with it.

Don't get hit.

Try and get the Book of Revelations, the Relic, and/or the Wafer.

Avoid Yum Hearts, CHAD, blood machines, etc.
