I am french, but I use steam and my games in english.
So I have the same issue than with orcs must die, the game is set up with qwerty while I use an azerty keyboard.
This wouldn't happen anyway if we had ♥♥♥♥ING PROPER KEYBINDING.

Also, why on earth does it need an EA account?

It needs an EA account to track entitlements for the promotional unlocks from the demo. Including a couple of items that are for ME3.

Doesn't need an EA Account. The promotional items are optional. You can click the little X and leave it at that.

It doesn't need an EA account, you can click the X to close the box then select the opt out option and never have to use it. That is what I did, I had no problem playing the demo afterwards.
