As the topic says! For extra details though, the price point of Sonic CD is tempting me - at least, it's tempting me to add it to a Sonic Generations order. (probably couldn't be arsed to buy it alone) Thing is, I already own Sonic CD. It's a minor hassle, but if I want to play it I can just go upstairs and fire up my working Mega CD and working European copy of that version of Sonic CD. Other than the Spiral Knights incentive, (which isn't enough to sway me either way) I really don't know what reason I have to get this version.
So; Can someone help me out by telling me exactly what's different between the Steam version, and the European Mega CD version?

The Steam version has smoother framerate, native widescreen support, unlockable playable Tails, option to switch between the Japanese soundtrack (which was used in the European version) and the US soundtrack, option to switch between the original Sonic CD styled spindash, controls and camera or Sonic 2 styled spindash, controls and camera, and it supports Steam achievements.

Well, if you buy it, you should know that the game doesn't always work. There are a large amount of users that can't get the game to work very well. (Or at all)
