The only jobs out there without a college education begin with the words, "Welcome to X may I take your order?"

Treat everything you say on the internet as you standing in the middle of Times Square with a bull horn screaming it to the crowds. Don't say stupid crap you wouldn't say to your own parents. This includes involving IM's. Once it's written, it's permanent.

You won't understand how immature and annoying you are on voice chat until you're 28, hung over and playing TF2 until your hangover pizza arrives.

Go outside, Nature has the ultimate GUI... Oh and here's a cardboard box and a stick. Now go play. That's how I did it. It strengthened my imagination.

If you've got any exams and such coming up, then for God's sake make sure they're at the top of your priority list. The last thing you want is to flunk an exam because you spent too much time looking at pictures of captioned cats.

Life has no checkpoints and life regen. Do not test.

Do not drink and play online games, do not play online games and drive, and absolutely, do not drink and drive.

Sharing software without permission is theft. It has nothing to do with freedom of the internet.

Eat responsibly and exercise while you are young. Getting rid of excessive fat becomes more and more difficult with every year added to your life.

Do not ever smoke cigarettes. There is nothing good about it, really. It sucks.

(1) Get rich quick, then go broke quick. You will learn a lot, and money and other material possessions won't have as much of a hold on you if you were to stay poor and try to get rich slowly without taking any risks.

(2) Join some kind of martial art or 1-on-1 physical sport such as wrestling or fencing or even tennis. Experience getting your @$$ kicked by someone just slightly better than you, and experience kicking someone else's @$$ too. You'll learn a lot, and won't be intimidated by people bigger/better than you in real life, and won't be tempted to bully people smaller than you. You will generally respect other people more because you'll appreciate where each person is currently at, whether higher or lower.

(3) I won't go into too much detail here, but I'll just say apply the same principles above to women, sex, and relationships. Listen to your gut more than your two heads. But also remember to take lots and lots of healthy risks. Realize that there's no such thing as a "risk" here anyway. Just like how you aren't really risking anything in video games. Because the only thing that usually is at stake here is your ego/pride and nothing else. And if you can survive going broke or getting your @$$ kicked without it being too big a deal, then nothing in this area can really harm you any worse than that.

Here's a very important one that came save you years.

When thinking "What if he/she won't like me?" about a person you have a crush on. Just remember they are just a person like yourself.

Would you absolutely hate it if a guy/girl came up to you and started a typical conversation? No. Neither will that person.

So just be yourself and confident, and casual. That person isn't going to shoot you for talking to them. If I just knew this in junior high and high school, I would be a cooler dude :3

True, I am just saying, wisdom doesn't only come with age.

You should not be too eager to believe "research" results. Only do so when you are sure you filtered through all the hidden pieces of information. For example, a lot of folks like to throw around percentages, but that can mean anything from 1 to 1 000 000. :)

The only jobs out there without a college education begin with the words, "Welcome to X may I take your order?"

There's quite a shortage of trained plumbers, electricians and the like. If you got the skills and the paperwork, you can start today. Meanwhile, thousands of college educated young people are living at home with Mum and Dad because a hundred others apply to the same job. There's nothing wrong with a honest, hard work and it pays surprisingly well too.
