I've been playing the first Assassin's Creed on-and-off for years and I've never had any crashing or severe engine issues until now.
Just built a new PC:
Graphics Card: EVGA GTX 580 3GB
CPU: Intel i7 2600K
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z68X-UD3R-B3
RAM: G.Skill RipjawsX 2x4GB
OS: Windows 7 x64
...and now I'm getting relatively frequent crashes (screen hangs, have to Ctrl+Alt+Delete, error message saying AC has stopped working). I get one of these at least once every two missions. Happens in many places, but most of them have occurred while I'm jumping between rooftops (might just be a coincidence).
Has anyone else had this?
