Random Saves?

It seems the game randomly ignores quick saves and even, in-station hard saves. anyone else have this?
nothing like spending the day mining to reload the next day and find all your work is gone because your latest save didnt take..

You can't save while you have an active mission; might that be your problem?

I always save by using ESC and pick my slot to save in.

Yes. But instead of telling you that it just silently copies the previous save as a new one lol

When you hit save while doing a mission, you get a notice that you cannot save while doing so. Also, bind quicksave secondary control to something like Numpad Enter, you won't need to hit ESC again.

When you hit save while doing a mission, you get a notice that you cannot save while doing so. No, I dont get any notice/message that I cannot save. The game create save in the slot I click. This save is a copy of the previous one that I made prior mission.
