Crashing your ship?

I don't know, but am I playing easy mode or something? When I crash into other ships or asteroids. I just slide off of them without taking any damage. but enemy ships seem to explode on contact with debris.

How do I turn on crashes?

One of the things we plan on adding the near future is a hard mode that will turn on damage from collisions.

God, I used to love doing the last resort move. Depending on the game, when I run empty on ammo/energy and my missiles are gone, shunt what I have left of shields to the front, and ram full speed into whatever I'm chasing. Love it.

that was my favourite tactic in Xwing and Starlancer. I would rack up mad kills, makes you feel bad ♥♥♥ when you slam into the back of their ship with guns blazing and BOOM, right out of the explosion with a sense of evil gratification.
