No demo, no sale.
Sandswept, you're an indie outfit.
You don't have a huge track record.
You have customers saying "This game doesn't run on all machines."
I'm sure you're nice guys, and I'm sure you worked hard on Detour.
And it looks fun and interesting.
But, if you want my money, cough up a playable demo.
I want to know how the interface works, how the game feels to play.
I want to know that it runs on my machine.
When I see a game with no demo, I wonder, do the devs/pubs think a demo would turn off more buyers than it would turn on?
If you don't have the confidence in your game to let me try playing it, I don't have the confidence to hand you my money.
Tl,dr; read the first line.
