Title, but then there's no field to enter the steam guard code, and it won't send me a new one. I have no idea what to do. Android btw.

As soon as you login with username & password it should appear the text field below username & password, together with the warning that a code was sent to the email.

Which version of Android are you using BTW?

It brought up the field properly the first time i used the app before i actually had beta access, so i know what it should look like. It won't do it now though.

I had exactly the same problem. And I managed to fix it by reinstalling the steam app. Afterwards the steam guard key text field reappeared and I got send a new key.
