Impossible to recruit directly to the reserve?

I am far from my lands on a quest and I want to recruit a couple of unit so i can sacrifice them (to close gate). But it seems i can't recruit a unit and put it in the reserve?

I even tried going with my army to a caste but it is still impossible.

Yes dude, I experienced that and that is the reason I came on the forum today.
Moreover when you get a new army I dont know how to pick soldiers from the reserve.

The soldiers, reserve and items gestion is really not ''dynamic'' its like: ok, I need that where do I go, what do I do, 10 min later, you're still at the same point, 20 min later, you finally make the decision to check on the manual, there is no manual on steam but on the forum but but where exactly you don't remember; So you click on ''forum'' from Steam but it drops you on KA1 forums, you didn't notice at first but luckily someone give you the link to KA2 forums.
You spent almost 40 min to come up with this message:

Please Neocore in the future try to find a way so Items and Armies gestion is more simple than it actually is.
Even forge items is boring.

So my questions:
- How do I transfer troops from reserve to another army than my main army (William Pendragon)?
I want to be able to recruit/transfer troops at any given time not just after one battle.
- I don't even know how to create a new army I didn't really look into it but if you can also answer that question, I would really much appreciate(I just happened to have a new army during quests).



I also would like to ?congratulate? Neocore for the time they spent to fix the performances, I already droped a message on forum about that, but was on KA1 forum.

In King Arthur II you have 3 armies. The first army leader in the game is William Pendragon. Until you don’t meet the other two main heroes (Morgana Le Fay and Sir Lancelot), William’s army will be the only one.

Every reserved unit is available on any Castle location but recruitment is only available if the whole province is yours not only a location.

The question was about recruiting units and putting them into the reserve directly.

Many quests ask you to sacrifice a unit. Obviously you don't want to sacrifice your experienced units, and you need to recruit new ones so you can lose those. Problem is your army is full, so you can't recruit into it. This is why we need to be able to recruit a unit and put it into the reserve directly.

It makes sense but the concept is that you can’t recruit directly to the Reserve, only to your army.

First you have to put your unit(s) into the Castle for making the slots free then you can recruit the “not so valuable” units.
