Help, various problems

I bought the game + the Kingdoms expansion a couple of days ago. Played 5 hours just fine on it before it crashed my laptop. I open up the laptop again and try to access Medieval 2 to see if its still working, the game refuses to launch stating the game is unavailable.

Tried it today, now it loads the main-page for the game, but when I press play, all it does is play the music and close itself.

Any help possible, or do I have to go looking for a refund?

Did only Medieval 2 crash, or did the laptop crash - i.e. with a bluescreen? And/or did you reboot before trying to play again - a full reboot, going into the laptops sleep mode doesn't count.

If you didn't reboot, maybe you're suffering from the buggy behavior of the Launcher. Use task manager to check if "Launcher.exe" and/or "medieval2.exe" are still running. If they are, kill them manually. Then try to play again.
