Can someone find out whether or not I can play without registering like Spiral Knights?

Pretty sure you need a perfect world account. No biggie, takes a minute to make one.

You'll have to signup for an account. If you have a Champions Online account it will work. They are all basically one sign in credential for everything related Cryptic.

All this and they still can;t add the Fortune Summoners demo?

Sorry for going off topic, but it's odd how this seems to always happens with demos.

You have to register for nearly any mmo. It's not time consuming, and is the only way you can play them.

I just downloaded it. You need either a Cryptic or Perfect Worlds account. Either work.

Girlpower, how big is the game exactly?

Got a really strict bandwidth and the recommendations don't always have the correct amount listed for how much space you need.

I'm confused about this, I saw a demo listed on the front page and in the search engine but it's not on the app page.

Yeah, it's happened in the past with some other demos. they list it on the demo page, but they either don't add the app at all, or they ad the app and it doesn't work when you click it.

Star Trek seems to be uploaded properly though.

But doesn't Cryptic still have certain regions locked out such as Korea, China and Russia?

It says it has Steam Achievements, but I don't see any..

While it says Steam Achievements, there doesn't seem to be any support for it. There wasn't back when STO was a paid-for product. That said, it HAS improved significantly since then.

It will have achievements though. Champions Online has achievements.. there is a good chance they haven't implemented everything yet.

The game is out for 2 years thursday. I think if they were going to they would have already.

It just went F2P.. it just started using Steamworks. Just like Champions Online, it started out without Steamworks. Went F2P and started using Steamworks.

STO doesnt use Steamworks, never has.

As for Achievements, i see it says that on the store page but i have no idea how long its been there for.

Either way, dont care for achievements, never have.

It does use Steamworks. Hello, Steam Wallet would like to say hello as well. Steam Wallet is a Steamworks feature and the only way you can have your F2P Games on here is to use Steam Wallet. Plain and Simple.
