Ok I managed to fix all my performance issues with this game including the extremely long loading times. To be honest I don't know why I never thought of it earlier. Just go into you steam file and find the King Arthur II folder, right click on the game icon and go to properties, check the box that says always run as administrator. Done. That fixed every issue i was having with the game.
