02-03-2012, 03:39 AM

I just finished downloading SR3 on my PC, i launched it first in dx10/11, but intro and menu screen lagged so much so i changed settings to low, ok still lags like hell (lags dont reduced after changing from ultra to low...)

Ok, punished game process, lauched it in dx9 again....same history
Game lags on all settings no matter which one i will pick.

WTF seriously, i have second pc that is waaaaay worse and he can run SR3 on Medium/high settings, and better PC can't run even main menu in game?

My specs:

MS Windows vista home premium 32-bit sp2.
AMD FX-4100Quad-Core Processor (3,60Ghz)
RAM Memory: 4GB
Graphics card: Nvidia GFeFroce GTS250.

Funnt stuff that i can play BF3 on High settings with over 50 FPS and 0 lags and cant play this game....

I just readed about my processor and some dude said i cant play Deus Ex or Sr3 on this processor i will get max 10 fps no matter which settings i will choose.

[.........] Gr8 i lost 50 bucks?
Steam gimme my money back -.-

A little searching in the forum and you would have found the solution. The problem is with your Bulldozer FX processor, it somehow conflicts with steams CEG DRM causing Horrible performance/BSODS in some games ( Ive seen the problem so far in this game and Deus ex HR).

To fix this i suggest you update your motherboards bios, your motherboard manufacturer might have already adressed the issue via Bios update. If your motherboard manufacturer hasnt adressed the issue yet tho, heres a link of a little program someone made to fix the problem, it works, the only downside to this is its not a permanent fix, you will have to run it everything you turn on your pc. But yeah people are saying its a virus and everything etc etc, but its not at all.

(link to program download should be in this topic)

I found fix 1hr after i posted this topic,
Program called "Orochi" helped me.
DX10 High details 50-60 FPS right now.

I hope they will correct this problem cuz it will be lame to launch that program everytime i launch PC.

You're getting 60 FPS with a GTS 250? What resolution are you running the game at?
