No it won't. The full-fledged HD remake was canceled and Arcade Kollection was what we got instead.

This collection is the remnants of the HD collection. In fact, one of the folders for this game is called MKHDGame. lol. I think there's two reasons why this collection turned out like it did:
1. The HD collection was originally planned to be a disc release and not a downloadable game. They were planning to put 3 very old arcade games on one Blu Ray (or DVD). Why's that bad? Have you seen a PS3/360 game launch for $10-$15? Cause I haven't. lol. A $30 price was likely and as nice as those pics of the HD collection were/are, $30 for 3 very old games is a bit rich for my blood and that's how most people felt. WB likely took notice to peoples reaction to the rumored price tag for the collection and canned the disc release. So that could explain why the disc release was canned but why was the HD feature removed? Well...

2. Converting an old game like that to HD isn't as easy as it may sound. Fiddling around with old games like that tends to cause a lot of bugs. So, the dev team probably opened a pandora's box worth of bugs and glitches during the HD conversion process which probably slowed progress on the game's development to a crawl. Furthermore, the dev teams budget was likely severely cut due to the cancellation of the disc release. I'm guessing that WB eventually decided to cut their losses and release the thing as is, but w/o HD (dev team most likely wasn't finished with the HD conversion process). This would explain why HD was cut and why this collection is so damn buggy. Remember, this is purely speculation on my part...
