Just throwing out an open invite to anybody out there who has bought the game but noticed that the online portion is completely dead :p

I think a combination of no advertising, a seemingly spontaneous release and no forum for the first week after release has done some unfortunate damage, especially given the price of the game. It would still be nice to get a community going since the game itself is actually good fun!

Just search for 'Insane 2 - Active Players' in the Steam Community to find us. We've already had a few organised sessions and the game is an absolute blast against real people so we plan on doing more every weekend. There's enough people in the group at the moment to fill out a few servers but it would be nice if we could reach out to anyone who fancies trying out the multiplayer and was disappointed by the lack of anyone online.

Cheers :)

Thanks Wurzel,
I'll join, I somehow like the game, though it lacks the physics and destruction 1nsane had. But the gamemodes are the best an arcade racing game can provide! :)

I've got the game and yes.. community is dead. Seems to happen with a lot of (racing) games these days.

What they're doing with FlatOut3 is post meeting dates on Steam, seems to work if you live in the same hour zone.

For me, i've got plenty of fellow-students who like to play racing games so when i feel the need to play online, i've got all the 'virtual' friends i need (max. 3, but that's usually enough for most games anyways)
