Where do you get it? I saw the texture files, but not the kit?!?

The kit is most likely inside your "Tools" part of the Steam interface.

Unfortunately I don't think it's available yet, when it is made available it should be in the "tools" section of your steam library.

Oh, okay!

Alright, I don't see any "Tools" interface any where on Steam. So, I guess I will do without.

Restart steam

It's called "Creation Kit" not "Skyrim Creation Kit' Which might be throwing you off. Restart Steam and it should begin downloading, it's only like 80-100MB

I was looking for GECK - Skyrim for some reason!

Yeah it's available already, sorry for misleading you!

The easiest way to install the creation kit is to click this link (steam://rungameid/202480). Alternativly load up the steam client and open up your library. Then underneath library click the words next to the search bar (All Games, Installed etc) and select tools. Then find creation kit, double click it and voila!

Go to Library. Beside the search box, click on 'all games', select tools.

Go to Library. Beside the search box, click on 'all games', select tools.

Or just View -> Tools on the menu bar

I'm confused, I got the opposite of the original poster, where do you guys see the texture pack? I just did a system restore so I am reinstalling skyrim as I type, does it auto download when the game is installed?

It doesn't auto download. You have to manually add the pack to your steam account (it's done the same way you buy a game. Open up the store page (http://store.steampowered.com/app/202485/?snr=1_4_4__103) and click install game) and then it'll download.
