CK: Simple NPC edits don't work

So this is my first time modding. I attempted to do something simple like make Faendal a little bit less ugly.

The changes I made to his facial structure are there, but the added warpaint and facial color are not.

Any ideas where I went wrong?

I'm struggling with this too. I made Sven skinnier, have different clothes, makeup, lips...but in-game he looks the same, except skinnier. I figure he might reload on a new game but UNFORTUNATELY the only good mod for skipping the intro is completely broken and I'm not ♥♥♥♥ing playing for 20 minutes just to check one damn alteration.

recycleactor doesnt work either. It just loads him naked.

Ah, that's another thing, where do you find the option for weight?
