Can't pick anyone else but robot-smoke?

Are some of you having trouble with character selection? I seem to fight against 90% robot smoke players. There are 22 other characters to use, so what seems to be the problem? :mad:

Fighting all these smokes just makes it so easy to predict everything you will try to do. :cool:

While Robot Smoke is definitely deadly in the hands of an experienced player (which could probably be said about any character), I think most people tend to pick up Robot Smoke as a beginning character because I think he has a pretty mild learning curve and is fairly simple to use, in my opinion.

Having used robot smoke so much in the past to beat the cpu in the ladders, I got sick of him. I use every male ninja, sektor and cyrax regularly, but I won't play as R-Smoke more than once or twice in a session.
