Hi all,

Just thought I would share my experiences. I have a win 7 64 machine with a ATI Radeon 5770. I bought the game on 2-8-12 and it ran fine for almost 2 hours. Late on 2-8-12 an update was released, and when I tried to play the game with the new update, the game would start fine, but the video card driver would crash after a couple minutes. Latest official Catalyst 12.1) I decided to set the game .exe to run in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3 and was again able to play without it crashing.

Thanks for a great game. It's like playing a living, interactive finger painting or something. It's fun to watch the plants grow!

I seem to be having a similar issue. My game hangs about 2-3 minutes into play. Switching to compatibility mode had no effect for me though.

Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit
i5-2450M 2.50Ghz
8GB 1600mhz ram
Radeon HD 7690M 1GB

On the plus side, that's my work machine and it runs fine at home, so maybe that's for the best?

Thanks for the Valentine's Day update. I can once again run the game fine without using a compatibility mode setting. Hopefully this patch will help others as well.

Appreciate the update, and love the fact that you're supporting the game like this. Unfortunately whatever's happening to me wasn't fixed here, as I still locked up about a full minute into the game. Says my display driver stopped responding this time. I can't remember if it said that before, but the symptoms were the same. Video freezes, music continues for a bit, then a "program not responding" window.

Again, not such an issue for me as I have another system it runs fine on, but figured you'd want to know. If I can provide any other helpful details let me know.

EDIT: Tried it again later today and made it through a whole section and gathered a spectra without a crash, far longer than ever before. Didn't have time to keep testing but it seems working now.
