outcast vs. academy

im debating as to what one to get? i played them back in the day but forgot which one was the better one.

what one should i get?

Academy is for sure the better game, but they are on sale for 2.50, why not get them both?

Outcast has way better single player (unless you don't care about the story and only like glowing swords), but Academy has better multiplayer (idk if there are still people there though)

There are quite a few people people playing Jedi Academy Online, not as big as it used to be, but a decent amount... Jedi Outcast Multiplayer has about 10 people at time, last i checked, its practically dead...

academy for online play, for single player outcast by far.

Yeah, I was gonna say Joe was an idiot, but he probably meant the multiplayer. The SP in Academy is terrible, while Outcast is a lot of fun

Jedi Academy was basically terrible compared to Jedi Outcast in both Single Player and Multi Player.

Jedi Academy completely ruined gunplay in multiplayer and lightsaber fights were nothing more than running at each other with ridiculous special attacks. For that reason, Jedi Academy's multiplayer didn't last even half as long as Jedi Outcast's.

Jedi Outcast had far more mods, more fun glitches, better CTF, better gunplay, and was just all around better.

Single Player was better as well, due to the cheesy plot and dull missions you're sent on in Jedi Academy.

Outcast for story and overall SP but multiplayer is dead with the few players left mostly hacking
Acadamy has less hackers and more players but worse story although SP still fun

I picked up the whole Jedi Knight collection when it was 75% percent off, but I would've paid full price. They are all amazing games!
