How do you save your game?

So I got the game running using XL Engine (the new version of DarkXL) and it looks and plays great but I can not for the life of me figure out how to save my game nor does a Google search return any useful information.

Please help!

You can only save between missions, so you have to do the level in one sitting or just leave the game paused.

Haha yeah, no auto-save here, very old school. It's a nice change of pace not to be able to auto-save, forces you to play for keeps at all times.

It's kinda painful on some of the levels though, especially if you've never played them before and need time to figure out the puzzles.

Yeah, I am currently in the process of getting owned on Nar Shadda by reptiles with high explosive water cannons on Hard. :( I found sometimes you gotta take your time.
