Cave asteroid?

What's the deal with the big asteroid you can fly into? I tried to mine, but got nothing.

You can find stuff like containers lying about in it.

There are some goodies in some of them.

Even gates have been found in them.

I set up a LMS fight in one of the caves, great fun. All pilots enter, one leaves!
