What happened? The campaign only took me 5 hours to beat and while it was good, felt like it was waaay too short. Additionally, I miss the old Darkness soundtrack; Gustaf Grefberg had way stronger music going that actually evoked emotion as well as brought out the intensity in the action scenes.

Seems like Gunplay got a lot smother (that's right, gameplay *is* lots of fun in Darkness II) but that somehow sacrificed the game's length and the music was cut short, as well as that I miss the good ol' WW1 Trenches of the Darkness world (that was cool because it was unique.)

Gonna try the co-op mode now, and I'm hoping for some extra single-player content (DLC please). I'll be playing the first game's soundtrack over top with the new one muted from now on.

Yeah, I do really miss the music of the first game, definitely. It made the action feel that much more intense and had this dynamic layer thing to it based on if you were in gunfight at one moment or not. The only song I remember hearing in Darkness 2 that came sort of close to the feeling of the soundtrack in the first game was the shooting pigeons mini-game.

I mainly wish they would just port The Darkness 1 to PC lol.
