Crashing on eating hearts

What the title says.
Worked fine yesterday, eating hearts out, worked in Vendettas too. Came back today to play some more, and eating hearts instantly crashes to desktop when I press E. I'm not using the FoV fix, as some forums think it may be the cause.
Any help is appreciated.

Your darkness is obviously choking as they eat it.

Give them something to drink once in a while you animal/demon/mythical being abuser!
