Weapon Classification

So.. I like to pair up merc with their weapon of choice if they have a trait specific one..

However I am not a military hardware buff and some of the weapons are really hard to figure out what they are classified as, as the details don't mention the type..

Particularly the differences between some of the sub machine guns and assault rifles..

If anyone knew where there was a look up guide, or felt like making one it would be very helpful... If that is too much to ask i could mention a few.. Like specifically the bullpup type weapons.. are they assult or smg?
