I bought it too soon and paid $35

So yeah, I bought it the second the game went up, before checking the forums to see it was supposed to be $30. Also, it just says "Alan Wake" in my library and none of the DLC is listed in the DLC section, is it possible that I didn't get the collector's edition?

Did this happen to anyone else? Is there a way to tell quickly if I have the DLC?

The only DLC is the "Alan Wake Directors Commentary". Which is the dev comm/soundtrack & artbook.

The signal and the writer are included regardless.

Weird, the Steam store page says they're only included for purchases before the 23rd, which would make me think there should be either DLC listed or a Collector's Edition distinction.

What they mean by that is the free upgrade to the CE is available till the 23rd.

The Writer and The Signal are available regardless of what version you purchase.

Go store -> top right hand corner click on "such and such's account". It'll show your last purchase. It should say "Alan Wake CE".

Within options there should be video commentary option. At least that's what was listed on the xbox version. CE has it and standard doesn't.

You should contact the Steam support so they can undo the transaction and you can buy it for 30 dollars instead and get the DLC.

Yeah, it's the CE at least. Oh well, game is awesome so I'm not too mad I guess. Still, missing a sale by mere minutes sucks. Why even make it available at $35 if it's only going to be that price for less than 5 minutes?
