Best SMG at longer ranges?

Which one's able to bring out the maximum possible damage at mid range? Anyone know of a reliable source on gun stats? Normally I'd look at good ole Den Kirson but he hasn't been around to it yet.

Ideally, it'd be "none": I don't think any SMG should be viable at long range, that's for Assault and Sniper Rifles. It's a trade-off: better hip fire and faster fire for decreased accuracy/damage at range.

However, because the gun balance in this game is ridiculous, the MP7 is a laser at all ranges in terms of accuracy.

I miss akimbo SMGs, only because they were so bad in MW2. But could you imagine them in this game?

MP7 is incredible accurate and in all circumstances, long or short range, a beast of a weapon. I levelled it to gold cammo in less than half the time I needed with the MP5.
