Some voices don't work such as alans or his wifes... Please help

Sounds like the game thinks you have a 5.1 setup and your center speaker doesn't work... or you don't have a 5.1 setup :)

Can you
1) ensure you have speakers set correctly in Windows
2) try -forcestereo command line (Steam->Alan Wake->Properties->Set Launch options)
