I guess some people have an expectation that this game will be on par with a AAA title like God of War. It's not, BUT, the game doesn't suck.

Played it with my kid through to the end. The worst part for me was the controls - hard to get onto ladders, when jumping from a ledge UP to another, he frequently goes sideways instead, and it doesn't always register that I want to initiate the grab move when the guys have the red dagger above their heads. Had a few camera problems but nothing too infuriating in that department.

Once you figure out that you can't just hack and slash through everything (blocking is your friend), learn which weapon works best on a particular mob, and when you can and can't grab the enemies, it's pretty smooth sailing. Even the final boss went down on the first attempt.

Overall, this was a great buy for the price. Think it was on sale for $2.50 a while back. I wouldn't pay much more than that, but this is not a terrible game.

This game is pretty good if you compare it to the HD version of GoW 2, graphics are about the same if not better in some areas.Yes the controls can be a pain some times but it isn't all that bad once you get used to how it works.I find the camera annoying some times but there's other games that are better with the same issues.
I haven't finished it yet but i would recommend this game for 2.50 NP if you like this style of game play.
Yes, well timed blocking is a must.
Lastly, this is prolly a small dev team so you can't expect too much from them since release date price was like 20$.
I like it.
