Hello.
I recently got this game under the impression that windowed mode would be easy enough to do in-game. I changed the r_fullscreen in the cfg files from 1 to 0, and that seemed to work...for the single-player.
When it brings up the multiplayer, it is always -- always -- fullscreen, and for no valid reason. I have tried editing every cfg file I know how to edit.
I am currently using the Call of Duty 2 World at War mod, but it was doing that before I used it. The launch options for that are '+set fs_game CoD2WaW +exec cod2waw.cfg' but I don't know if that hinders it.
I have tried d3dwindower (which says it 'cannot find Steam'), setting the cfg files read-only (which has stopped it from setting r_fullscreen to 1, but has no actual effect on the game), and I'm at wit's end trying to figure out how to do this.
Any help to be had? Not that it probably matters much, but I'm running this on Win7 64-bit.
