Radio signals

Has anyone else noticed that the brief radio signals only occur near graves/memorials/standing stones?

My 2 cents:

In the spirit of the interpretation thread, might they be meant as sort of an aura of those that went before, the way the aerial becomes the narrator's gateway towards transcendence of the isolation/solitude the island represents?

Yes. I have gone through the sound files, and while it seems like it could be the narrator speaking, it is too distorted to understand. Also some of them sound like a woman’s voice.

I checked the radio signal, it appears to be some short, random gibberish.
