Possible Spoiler Warning.
Some of the comedy references in this game are pretty obvious. You can't really miss the Pokémon reference for example. Some are a little more subtle (perhaps there are people who won't know why 'For the Hoard' is so funny).
I'm just curious (should Poet drop by and see this) whether you can clarify these two. Are these references intentional or am I reading too much into them? :P
Stargate: Well at first I thought the moongate was just a simple reference to how much Elves like moons. :D But then Candy insisted I take four people through the moongate. I found this weird, considering Cake and Candy make two and Deacon and Violence were pretty much guaranteed to come with. Then I began to wonder why I would have to go confirm with those two first. Is there something significant about needing four people to go through a moongate? Then it struck me that four people is the usual amount of people who go through the Stargate. Sam Carter, Daniel Jackson, Teal'c and O'Neill in SG-1, or Shepard, Tayla, Ronin and McKay in Atlantis.
Blackadder: Is it just me... or do Princess Lazilio (or whatever her silly name is) and Senor Don remind me instantly of Queen Elizabeth I and Lord Melchett from Season 2 of Blackadder? I honestly expected them to break into fits of laughter when I returned with the fried chicken.
I'll be back if I spot any other possible references that I'm unsure about. :)
