View Full Version : So, if a queen ruler and a king ruler of different countries get married

Apparently each one of them still rule their own kingdoms, it just forges an alliance, but what about the heir? would the first born inherit both kingdoms? And which kingdom would take the other one over? Last one to die keeps both? King keeps both? /confused

The son, depending on the succession laws, would inherit both.

If one dies first, the son would become king of the other until the second dies, then he would inherit both.

The kingdom which would appear on the map originally would be the larger de jure kingdom (I think) but this can be changed by changing your primary title.

Just another question I had now, if you ally yourself to the dukes of a king and then declare war on the king, can they join you? Sounds like a good strategy if it works

It depends on the relations they have with their liege.

Sorry about it but here goes another question, since it's about diplomacy I thought I'd post here again~

I noticed I can't arrange marriages for my children after I give them a title, if I get them married before I give them titles to forge alliances, would the alliance still be mine or would my son/daughter get the alliance just for themselves instead?

Edit:Oh yeah, one quick question (wow this game really needs a wiki -.-)
What is this rank thing? There's a tiny independant duchy right next to my vast english kingdom refusing to be a vassal because apparently he has a higher rank than me? @_@

Is the ruler of said Duchy a King or Emperor?
