DEAR ESTHER WIKI

I created the Dear Esther wiki so that people can create articles there about the game. I hope it will grow and that there will be valid and interesting information. Plz don't create pages with your own opinions, add objective information.

(PS: I do only the environment and templates of the wiki because I am not smart enough to be the one adding information about the characters...)


On a side note: I started 'my' first wiki (http://zombieescape.wikia.com/wiki/Zombie_Escape_Wiki) some months ago and I have plenty of experience in these wikias, so if there's something you don't understand, feel free to ask.

Excellent idea - perhaps now we can upload images of all of the ghosts, all of the writing on the walls, etc along with descriptions of what they are. Looking forward to making my own contribution (unless someone beats me to it).

When you click on the 'Dear Esther' banner at the top left, shouldn't it go to this page:

at the moment, it goes here:

Also, even though I've made a few edits elsewhere I appear to be unable to edit this page:

is there a reason for that?


Finally, on the To-do-list, is it possible to add a page for the ghostly figures?

Nice observations to begin :)

The Dear Esther banner on the top left is, like on all wikis the button which you can always reffer to to go back to the main page so that's normal. The main page has been secured just for the time I wanted to build it but now it should be editable!

You can freely put it on the to-do list :) normally it should really be editable at this moment. until the to-do list is finished, it will be editable. Once the most important pages have been created, the main page will be locked again.

You also might to add Ghosts as one page and the different types of ghosts as sub-categories. But for now just put 'Ghosts' on the to-do list and I'll see what I can do :)

Idk, you wouldn't even see half of that picture anyway... With the one now you can at least see full fragments of the game :)

I tried it anyways, but at this moment idk what my computer has but he won't show any changes I make... Even if I purge the page and clear all my cache it still doesn't change my picture on the background x) But I think it looks good. I'll see when I can see it! ;)

There should be a 'Contribute' button qround the top right corner of the wikia, click on it and then click on 'Add Page', choose empty page and you're set ;)

Seems to be developing nicely, but what the Wiki badly needs is a proper contents page so that people can go to the main page and, for example, click on 'ghosts, 'texts', etc.
